What It’s Like to Work Together

Tanya Gabrielle is a trauma-informed Counsellor at Ananta Wellness & Osteopathy Clinic, offering virtual sessions to individuals and couples across Canada. 

Tanya’s work is informed by the interconnection between physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual wellness as part of a holistic system. She views healing as a evolving process of deepening self-understanding, expanding emotional capacity, nurturing a healthier and more deeply connected relationship with oneself  and creating space for lasting change through awareness, compassion, curiosity, and self-acceptance.

Her approach to counselling is grounded, honest and intuitive. Tanya believes therapy is most effective when clients feel emotionally safe, genuinely seen, and able to show up exactly as they are without judgment.

Tanya’s work is influenced by creativity, nature, authenticity, and empowerment. Working with her is a collaborative process focused on exploring what lies beneath the surface while developing practical tools to navigate life with greater clarity, resilience, intention, and alignment.

Tanya works from an integrative lens that combines evidence-based therapies with a deep understanding of meaning, emotions, relationships, the nervous system, and the mind-body connection. She recognizes that every individual carries a unique nervous system, along with their own story, trauma, history, and way of moving through the world. Sessions are tailored to each client’s specific needs, patterns, and challenges.

Her role is not to tell clients who to become, but to support them in strengthening their internal resources, navigating life’s challenges, and creating space for greater balance, and lasting change.

Counselling services are offered in both French and English

Tanya holds a Master Level Diploma in Clinical Counselling, along with an interrnationally recognized certification in Life Coaching from Rhodes Wellness College, aligned with the standards and corer competencies of the International Coaching Federation, with a focus on communication, behavioural change, emotional insight and personal growth. She is also a Registered Master Practitioner in Clinical Counselling (Provisional) with the nationally recognized Canadian Professional Counsellors Association (CPCA) and has completed professional Training in the Gottman Method, a research-based approach grounded in one of the longest-running and most influential studies on couples and relationships ever conducted.

Tanya offers individual and couples virtual counselling sessions, providing clients with the flexibility and comfort of accessing support from their own environment. Virtual therapy can create a strong sense of ease, accessibility, flexibility and emotional safety while still offering a deeply personal therapeutic experience.

Narrative therapy

Gottman Method

The Gottman Method is a research-based approach that helps couples strengthen communication, rebuild trust, navigate conflict more effectively, and deepen emotional connection.

In couples work, Tanya supports partners in understanding underlying emotional needs and relational dynamics while developing healthier ways of communicating, repairing disconnection, and building emotional safety within the relationship.
