Covid & Communicable Disease Prevention

Pre-screening: Prior to and at the time of your appointment:

  • Covid and Communicable Disease Pre-screening will remain in place and must be completed for both Patient and Practitioner prior to their appointment and/or entering the clinical space.
  • Symptoms of a communicable disease can include fever or chills, recent onset of cough, diarrhea, difficulties breathing, sore throat, loss of smell and/or taste, headache, extreme fatigue or tiredness, loss of appetite, nasal congestion and/or runny nose, nausea and vomiting.
  • Patients will be advised to reschedule their appointment and phone 8-1-1 if they feel any of the above symptoms.

Preparation for your appointment:

  • You will be asked to attend the clinic no earlier then 5 minutes before your appointment
  • You will be expected to bring your own MEDICAL GRADE MASK, and kindly wear it during your time at the clinic. (If you do not have a mask, we will have some available for purchase).
  • Please bring a clean change of clothes for your session, you will not be permitted to wear the clothes you arrived in
  • Patients will be asked to wash their hands prior to and after their session, following the guidelines outlined by the CDC
  • Patient must arrive unaccompanied unless the patient is a minor who requires parent/guardian, or is medically indicated
  • Parents please bring your own toys for your children’s session, our toys have been temporally removed from the clinic

 

Physical Distancing:

  • Our waiting room will be arranged in such a way to ensure appropriate physical distancing requirements of 2 meters
  • Please arrive at your the schedule of your appointment ONLY. Clients who arrive early will be asked to remain in their cars or outside prior to their appointment time
  • A maximum of two person will be allowed in the waiting room at all times
  • Appointments will be staggered in such as way to ensure appropriate physical distancing requirements
  • Patient must arrive unaccompanied unless the patient is a minor who requires parent/guardian, or is medically indicated

Strict Cleaning and Hygiene Procedures:

  • Patient and Practitioners will wash their hands upon entry of the treatment room with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, followed by thorough drying
  • Alcohol-based hand sanitizer is also available but is NOT to replace hand washing, only acting as a secondary support
  • Face touching avoidance is highly recommended as the coronavirus can be spread by touch if a person has used their hand/s to cover a cough or a sneeze
  • The Ananta Team will frequently clean and disinfect common areas and high touch surfaces and treatment rooms between each session with Approved grade disinfectant, at a minimum between each patient
  • Ensure good ventilation where possible with window opening and the use HEPA Purification systems located in each treatment room
  • Single use linens and pillow cases

The Use of Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Patients must bring and wear their own MEDICAL GRADE MASK during their time at the clinic
    • if you do not have a mask, we will have some for purchase
  • Practitioners will use a medical grade surgical mask during treatment, changed with each patient. 
  • Practitioners will wear designated work-only clothes

Additional changes:

  • No magazines or books will be kept in waiting area
  • No tea and/or water will be available
  • No loitering before/after session (other then medically indicated)
  • Patients will be asked to kindly refrain from resourcing reading material from our library, for use during their time at the clinic or at home
